Our provost and senior vice president search is complete
Oklahoma State University has named Dr. Jeanette Mendez as provost and senior vice president following a nationwide search. The announcement was guided by input from the OSU community, as well as a diverse, 24-person selection committee, assisted by the national search firm Buffkin/Baker.

STATE magazine covers current research, campus events, alumni achievements and historic moments from OSU’s proud history. The Spring 2022 issue highlights donations to create the Hamm Institute for American Energy, the Ray and Linda Booker Flight Center and the N. Malone Mitchell Jr. Soils Lab. So, the associate professor with the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Spears School of Business, was recognized as a breakthrough star with some of the most highly cited articles in his field and best papers among his awards and honors this year.
