  • “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world,” Nelson Mandela said. How will you use your education to have a lasting impact on your community?
  • When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? How has that dream evolved over time, and what factors have motivated those changes?

Essay responses are used in our comprehensive review process if you do not meet assured admission criteria, as well as for select scholarships. You are not required to submit essays if you meet OSU’s assured admission criteria and do not wish to be considered for all scholarships.
