We're here to help you transition to OSU by providing robust programs and services to ensure your success. All freshmen are required to attend an orientation and enrollment program.

Fall 2025 Orientation and Enrollment Program Options

 

Traditional Program

This premiere program option is highly encouraged regardless of your familiarity with campus, as it allows for additional time with your academic college, extended opportunities for peer interactions and a more manageable pace of information.

 

The on-campus, two-day experience begins with check-in at 1:30 p.m. on the first day and concludes by 1 p.m. on the second day. Overnight on-campus accommodations are available to students at an additional charge of $42 per person, per night. No advanced reservation is required. Fee includes sheets, towels, blanket, pillow and complimentary soap. Guests of students must arrange their own overnight accommodations.

Condensed Program

During this orientation experience, you'll receive information at a quicker pace. The condensed program is recommended for those very familiar with OSU, those who are sure of their major selection or those who typically have quick decision-making skills. The program includes advising and enrollment, time with peers and opportunities to learn more about the OSU community.  

  

This on-campus, one-day experience is from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Virtual Program

This program option is limited to students who live more than 500 miles from Stillwater and cannot make the trip to campus, are in military training during on-campus program offerings, have financial hardships that prevent attendance or will be out of the country during the entirety of on-campus program options.  

 

The online, Zoom program focuses specifically on the enrollment process. Participants will be required to view pre-recorded sessions ahead of time. 

 

 

Modified Program

This half-day, on-campus program provides academic advising and enrollment while introducing you to campus and academic resources and connecting you with peers. Please plan to attend the entirety of this four-hour program.
