Join us for Money Talks, a monthly financial planning series geared toward current freshmen to help you achieve success. We will cover a new topic each month. There is an opportunity to be awarded scholarship money with each session you attend.

Money Habitudes

Money is one of the most difficult topics to discuss. We’ll reveal what habits and attitudes motivate a person’s money behaviors. Money Habitudes is the quickest and most effective way to better understand how your habits and attitudes influence your financial choices. We’ll help you discover more relevant, effective, and individualized strategies for paying for your education.

Budgeting

Understand how to set and keep a budget to help ensure you’re on track to achieve your financial and educational goals. We’ll cover the basic income, expense, and budgeting fundamentals and provide the tools for you to create and track your personal financial plan.

Navigating Scholarships

Now that you’re looking toward your second semester and second year, finding additional ways to support your educational goals can reduce your out-of-pocket expenses or student debt. We’ll help you streamline your search for the best fit scholarships and maximize your chances at emerging with funds for your college education. We will also help with completion of the 2025-26 FAFSA to help maximize your opportunities for federal aid.
