In-State Rising Scholar Automatic Qualifier
All 2026-2027 in-state freshmen who apply for admission are considered for the following cash and tuition scholarships once they are certified as Rising Scholars by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE).
The minimum criteria to qualify for the Rising Scholars Program as an Automatic Qualifier is scoring at or above the 99.5 percentile on the ACT or SAT. For Fall 2026, the required ACT total sum score is 103 across the required English, Math and Reading skill areas or SAT critical reading and math skill area sum score of 1560. The ACT Science skill area is now optional and no longer included in the 103 required ACT sum score. Official ACT Superscores provided by ACT will be accepted for Automatic Qualifier scholarship consideration.

The tuition scholarship may be used in undergraduate and graduate school but cannot be guaranteed for students in the OSU Center for Health Sciences or the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine (CHS and CVM students may request tuition scholarship from those colleges). The tuition scholarship normally applies to fall and spring terms only. Some restrictions, terms, and conditions apply.
*Scholarships awarded by other offices or organizations may be added to this total package, increasing your total scholarship award up to the cost of attendance. A student may only have one tuition scholarship in effect at any time.
