How to apply
- All incoming undergraduate transfer students who are admitted are automatically considered for scholarships.
- Scholarship selection criteria vary, but can include number of transfer credits earned as well as college GPA.

2024-2025 In-state regents distinguished transfer scholarships
Award Eligibility Description Value Regents Distinguished Transfer Scholarship (Oklahoma residents only) Must have 7-23 transferable credit hours AND a 3.25 college GPA
Renewable for up to three years with a 2.0 overall GPA. $2,500 ($7,500 three-year total) Regents Distinguished Transfer Scholarship (Oklahoma residents only) Must have 24+ transferable credit hours AND a 3.25 college GPA Renewable for up to two years with a 2.0 overall GPA. $2,500 ($5,000 two-year total) -
Students can only receive one tuition waiver/scholarship from OSU (Stillwater or Tulsa). Students will only receive the tuition waiver/scholarship that provides the greatest benefit to the student.

In-state cowboy commitment transfer scholarship
Available to students transferring from an OSU/A&M institution: OSU-OKC, OSU-IT, Connors State College, Langston University, NEO A&M College and Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
This scholarship cannot be combined with the scholarships in the chart above.

Renewable for up to two years with a 2.0 overall GPA. Full waiver of the out-of-state portion of tuition. - Students can only receive one tuition waiver/scholarship from OSU (Stillwater or Tulsa). Students will only receive the tuition waiver/scholarship that provides the greatest benefit to the student.

Scholarship deadlines
- Fall-entering students
April 1 for Priority Scholarship Consideration;
May 1 is College Decision Date. Some scholarships must be accepted by this date or they may be cancelled.
August 15 is the last day to submit application materials, such as updated test scores or transcripts, for final scholarship consideration.
- Spring-entering students
Nov. 1 is the deadline for Priority Scholarship Consideration. The absolute scholarship deadline for entering OSU in the Spring is the Friday before the semester begins. All information must have been postmarked prior to this date as well. See the academic calendar here.
