What's required? You'll need these five things to be considered for admission:
- Completed the online concurrent application
- $50 nonrefundable application fee or fee waiver
- Official high school transcript reflecting unweighted GPA and class rank (if available)
- ACT/Pre-ACT or SAT/PSAT test score (test-optional admission available, see requirements for details)
- Submit a concurrent approval form (available at completion of the online application)
Assured concurrent admissionStudents may qualify for assured admission if they meet ONE of the following criteria:
Beginning in summer 2022, students have the option to apply to OSU without consideration of a test score. Students who select this option on the application will be considered for admission based on a full review of their high school transcript. Class rank is not required for test optional admission. This option also applies to home school, private, parochial or other non-public high schools which are not accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
OSU does not consider the essay component of the ACT/SAT for admission criteria listed above.
Home study or Unaccredited High Schools: Graduates must satisfy the curricular requirements and have either a 1160 SAT or 24 ACT score. Grade-point average and class rank are not used to evaluate students who fall under either category.
